Principal Dr. Muhammad Shahjahan Madani is a highly accomplished Islamic scholar with extensive academic and professional experience. He obtained Kamil in Hadith and earned a Licentiate in Da’wa and Usulud Deen (Fiqh) from Islamic University, Madina Munawarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also obtained an M.A. in Islamic Studies, an M.Phil in Law & Shariah, a PhD in Da’wa & Islamic Studies, and an additional M.Phil specializing in Fiqh, Usulul Fiqh and Ijtihad. Since 2006, he has been serving in the Department of Islamic Studies at Bangladesh Islami University, contributing significantly to academic and administrative development. He is the author of approximately fifteen books on various Islamic issues.

In addition, he performs as a Member of the Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of NCC Bank PLC. Besides, earlier he performed as the member of Shariah Supervisory Committee of NRB Bank PLC and SBAC Bank PLC.
