Mufti Dr. Imam Hossain is a respected Islamic scholar with strong academic credentials and extensive experience in religious leadership and higher education.

He obtained Kamil (Hadith) and completed Ifta, along with an M.A. in Arabic and a PhD in Arabic Literature.

He serves as Khatib of Baitun Nur Jame Masjid in Uttara, Sector 11, Dhaka, and as an Associate Professor in the Arabic Faculty at National University, Gazipur. He is also the Head Mufti of Darut Tawhid Al Madaniyyah Fatwa Board in Feni and continues to contribute to academic development as an Associate Professor under National University.

Mufti Dr. Imam Hossain is the author of numerous publications covering various areas of Islamic studies.

In addition, he performs as a Member of the Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Standard Bank PLC, where he provides guidance on Shari’ah compliance and Islamic banking matters.
