The purpose is to extend banking services to the unbanked and underprivileged segments of the population – including freedom fighters, hard-core poor individuals, farmers, ready-made garments workers, street children and working minors, small life insurance policy holders, beneficiaries of social security programs, participants in the national service program, and distressed individuals receiving grants from the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust – with the aim of fostering financial inclusion and enhancing the bank’s savings deposit portfolio.
